I’ve never really thought about putting primary colours together. But when I recently browsed through Elie Saab’s 2012 ready-to-wear collection, I was absolutely enamoured with the use of blue + green.

So of course, I wanted to create an inspiration board using these bold primary colours. I decided to tone down the blue from a cobalt to more of a navy which ended up complementing the emerald green.

Hello!

I love the rich colours you’ve used here! One of our designers created a deep blue sample board a while back and your board inspired me to dig it out. http://www.sampleboard.com/boarddetail/598

People so often shy away from such intense use of colour for weddings, but it really looks fab! Will keep it in mind for my wedding one day :)

We also have a trial for SampleBoard’s Ultimate Creator should you wish to create digital moodboards in minutes for use in your blog posts or for client concepts! With Ultimate Creator you can upload your own images, but there is also an extensive image library to inspire!
Try it out if you’re keen, its quick to sign up http://www.sampleboard.com/register

Thanks!
