Ashlee Simpson & Pete Wentz Wedding Pictures
I love the weather that Ashlee and Pete incorporated in their Alice in Wonderland-themed ceremony.
Celebrity Wedding Planner Mindy Weiss designed the event, Ashlee’s father was the Officiant, and Jessica was a bridesmaid. the marriage happened in her parent’s backyard in Encino, California, and that they had approximately 150 guests. this is often the invite guests received a couple of weeks before the marriage. They were asked to wear dark colors.
Ashlee wore an ivory lace Monique Lhuillier dress and a diamond necklace with matching earrings, while Pete wore a Dior Homme tuxedo. The bridesmaids wore black Vera Wang gowns and their bulldog , Hemingway, served because the ringbearer.
The reception featured a Wonderland-inspired cake with a dress hat , teapot, stopwatch, and a pot of flowers on top, with elaborate centerpieces with black beauty roses. Celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck catered the event. One delicious dish that was served: lobster tempura with vanilla kung pao sauce. Yum! Guests also sipped on Veuve Clicquot champagne and danced to music from a DJ after dinner.
After taking pictures, Ashlee emerged during a “sexy black party dress” to bop . The guests gathered underneath white tents, which were decorated with black rugs, white couches with red pillows, black chandeliers, and much of red roses. There was also a photograph booth for a few fun photos. Guests left with a memento: a red box containing a cookie that, continuing the “Alice in Wonderland” theme, read, “Eat me.”
